Salam Folks! Its been a while but we are still alive, and Ramadan Mubarak!
We got to try the Iftar Menu at Nidaaya, Melia Doha, and it was amazing. Nidaaya has a great location, and a great view. And, for Iftar, the menu is as in the picture – so appetising, and mouth watering, yet healthy!
Live cooking stations and an extensive menu combine the best of both local and international cuisine, making Nidaaya the perfect place for families and friends to share a special feast.
Nidaaya has created a menu that observes the rituals of Ramadan. To begin guests can break their fast at Nidaaya with a selection of digestifs and dates. Next, the restaurant provides an elaborate selection of local delicacies such as Hummus, Tabbouleh and Muhammara, whilst there is also a wide choice of salads including Greek, Potato and Caesar salad. For the main course, guests will delight at the options of Rosemary Strip Loin, Roasted Chicken or Rib-Eye Steak. Seafood lovers are welcomed with a wonderful selection of Garlic Seabass, Mussels Provencal and more. The meal is completed with a choice of satisfying desserts including Coconut Cake, Chocolate Brownie and Apple Pie.
Meliá Doha understands the importance of the daily customs of Ramadan and has created a special Suhoor menu, which can be enjoyed either in the privacy of guest’s rooms or the separate Suhoor tent. The menu has been designed to aid guest’s fasting by including filling and slow-releasing energy foods such as Scrambled Eggs, Manakesh and Fataya. Those that wish to socialize together with family and friends can visit the traditional Arabic tent, where Suhoor will be served with sharing platters containing Arabic grills as well as the Levantine dishes of Babbaganoush, Mutabal and Shawarma.
Nidaaya will be open daily for Iftar from 7:00pm – 9:00pm whilst the Suhoor tent will be open every day from 9:00pm until 2:00am.
